Turns out it's not just guys that think that. I started thinking that after "working" (i.e., doing what I was told) on my car with my uncle up at his shop. Life has been a lot lately. Not too much, just a lot, but I still wish I could turn it off for a while and do something at which I can expect a measure of success. Now, fixing cars is not the thing at which I succeed most, but I can at least grasp the concept and apply it to whatever-- quilting, making chocolate-cream-cinnamon-cayenne pies, painting, writing blogs, climbing trees..... Success seems to put the world back on its axis.
So, feeling overwhelmed? Go work on the car.

Wonderful picture! Did you have to sit up there so you could reach everything? : )
Miss your blogs! Hope you are well even with life being a lot.
What if you don't have a car?
Conversation I overheard while reading your blog
B: Is that Jessie?
J: Yep
B: Is that her car?
Me: I think so....
J: I like that picture of Jessie cuz she's so cute in it
B: Ya, me too. But where's Maggie?
J: Ya, why isn't Maggie in the picture? We want to see her too.
:o)
Emily: yes, that's where I had to sit to reach everything. :-)
Caleb: you own a computer or five don't you?
Anonymous: love it, but who are you?!
:o) I'll give you a clue.... I am a Nehalemite with a 5yo daughter, a 4yo daughter (the 2 having the conversation) and a 17mo son. Is that enough hints? LOL!
That was my one guess, Beci! It took me a while though!
